History[]
Original Timeline
Mary Anne Gleardan has an IQ of 195. She is supposed to go into college, but her parents want her to spend a few weeks in high school to help her develop social skills. Civics is her passion and that is how she meets Mayor Jones. She asks to be appointed to the city council but he says she was too young. She learns the legend of Que Horrifico in Dr. Potrillo's honors class. Wanting to run Crystal Cove her way, she used the school's theater department for her Que Horrifico costume to scare away the adults in the town. She goes to every kindergarten and elementary school and convinces the kids with candy to pretend to be spookified when they heard her play the pan flute. Mary Anne is hired as Fred Jones, Jr.'s civics tutor. She meets him one day during lunch and they go to study. At school, Mary Anne reminds Fred that he was supposed to meet him in the library for his tutoring, although Fred tells her he has something more important to do. The gang tries to trap Que Horrifico, but the spookified kids got her out of the trap. They chase the gang but after a TV show the children likes turns on, they take off some fake hair and some fake fangs, and the gang is able to capture Que Horrifico. Mary Anne is unmasked and arrested. ("The Song of Mystery")
