Original Timeline
Gatorsburg was founded in the 1800s when a group of prospectors searching for gold, found that the town has more alligators than anywhere else in the world. They sold them and became famous for their gator skin products, until the gator wells ran dry and the town became deserted. ("The Creeping Creatures")
